Contracting Operations

Native Woodland Creation across Scotland

Competent, seasoned tree planters and skilled operators working to ensure low-impact solutions can be found in sensitive areas. We work hard to increase viability and are committed to overcome the toughest conditions to help establish woodlands where they matter most. We will consider projects of any size, anywhere within Scotland & Northern England.

Site access, low impact felling & extraction

Continuous Cover Harvesting

Access tracks, rides & extraction routes

Selective felling and low ground pressure extraction techniques on wet soils and hard-to-reach areas, avoiding clear-fell erosion while securing sawlog and viable firewood value.

We can create access utilising on-site material to achieve the desired management objectives, whether that may be harvesting or amenity.

Coppice & thinning

We are building capacity for low impact thinning both of even aged stands and within CCF and have a growing interest in Coppice, both for firewood and woodland craft products.

Sales

We work with our clients for optimum compatibility with their needs, offering on-site processing or organising roadside sales of cord wood and standing stock.

We sell and deliver air-dried hardwood & softwood logs in trailer loads, tipped in a location of convenience. A stacking service is available and all our logs are sourced from small Scottish woodlands.
